Mr. Denney is the President and CEO of Teine and has served on Teine’s Board since May, 2015. Mr. Denney is a Professional Engineer with over 25 years of industry experience in both onshore and offshore resource development. He started his oil and gas career working for Murphy Oil. Subsequently, he joined Encana holding various senior engineering, operational and management positions. Mr. Denney is a founding member of Teine.
Mr. Denney holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Calgary, is a member of APEGA and the Institute of Corporate Directors. He is a member of the EPAC Board of Governors and a Director of Lifting Solutions Inc.
Mr. Hillier joined Teine in May 2014 and has over 35 years of experience in financial reporting and analysis, strategic planning, capital markets and investor relations. Prior to Teine, he served as CFO of several growing international and domestic energy companies, including Angle Energy Inc., Platino Energy Corp., C&C Energia Ltd. and Verenex Energy Inc. Prior thereto, Mr. Hillier held various positions with Nexen Inc. from 1991 through 2004.
Mr Hillier holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Manitoba and is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Alberta (CPA Alberta).
Mr. Ringrose is a Professional Engineer with 25 years of industry experience. He started his oil and gas career working for Imperial Oil Resources and for the next 12 years held various senior engineering, operational and management positions with both Imperial Oil and ExxonMobil. Prior to joining Teine in 2017, Mr. Ringrose was most recently managing the development of the Kaybob Duvernay asset for Chevron Canada.
Mr. Ringrose holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and a Masters of Business Administration in Finance, both from the University of Calgary, and is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA).
Ms. Pedersen is a geologist with over 20 years of industry experience in both conventional and unconventional oil and gas plays. She started her career at PanCanadian Petroleum (Encana) and subsequently worked as a consultant to various junior oil and gas companies. She has been with Teine since inception of the company.
Ms. Pedersen has a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Queen’s University and a Master of Science from the University of Ottawa. She is a Professional Geologist and member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA) and Saskatchewan (APEGS).
Mr. Homan brings over 20 years of oil and gas experience and has been with Teine since inception of the company. Prior to Marble Point Energy, Mr. Homan held various production roles at domestic and international companies including EOG and Gulf Canada Resources
Mr. Homan holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Calgary. He is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA).
Mr. Cumberland brings over 20 years of oil and gas experience and has been with Teine since March 2010. Prior thereto, he held various exploitation-focused roles at domestic and international companies including Berens Energy, Burlington Resources and Nexen.
Mr. Cumberland holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Calgary. He is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA).
Ms. Verrier has over 25 years of experience in financial reporting, analysis and treasury and was appointed Vice President, Finance & Treasurer of Teine in May 2014. She has been with Teine since 2011 and prior thereto was an independent consultant providing finance and treasury services on a contract basis to oil and gas companies. Previously she served in various finance and reporting roles with DC Energy Services Inc. / Total Oilfield Rentals LP and BA Energy Inc. / Value Creation Inc.
Ms. Verrier is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Masters of Accounting from the University of Manitoba.
Mr. McNamara has approximately 15 years of finance and energy industry experience and he has been with Teine since November 2014. Prior thereto, he worked in the corporate development groups of Platino Energy and its predecessor company, C&C Energia. He began his career in the mergers and acquisitions group at RBC Capital Markets.
Mr. McNamara holds an Honours Business Administration degree from the Ivey School of Business and a Masters of Business Administration degree from the Haskayne School of Business.
Mr. Bos brings over 28 years of oil and gas experience and has been with Teine since August 2016. Prior thereto, he held various engineering and operational roles at domestic and international companies including Baytex Energy, Conoco Phillips, Burlington Resources, Canadian Hunter and Schlumberger.
Mr. Bos holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta. He is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA).
Mr. Perez is a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) and a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) with over 25 years of human resources experience in the oil and gas, e-commerce, high tech, engineering/geosciences consulting, and banking industries. Prior to joining Teine, he managed the People functions in noted workplaces including eBay Canada, JPMorgan Chase, Worley, and Sinopec Daylight Energy.
Mr. Perez has a Bachelor of Commerce in Organizational Behaviour & Industrial Relations Management from the University of British Columbia, and holds a certification in Workplace Mental Health from Queen’s University. He is a member of the Chartered Professional Human Resources Association of Alberta, and sits on the Leadership Committee of the Calgary Exchange Group of Energy HR professionals, as well as on the board of a noted provincial mental health organization.

Mr. Bourne has served on Teine's Board of Directors since August, 2019. He was Chairman of Ballard Power from May, 2006 to June, 2018 and Chairman of SNC-Lavalin from May, 2013 to March, 2015, following his role as Interim Chief Executive Officer of SNC-Lavalin from March, 2012 to October, 2012. He is a former Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of TransAlta Corporation. Mr. Bourne has served as a director and chaired committees of the Canadian Public Accountability Board, the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, Wajax Corporation, Canadian Oil Sands Limited, Hydro One Limited, TransAlta Power LP, and many not-for-profit organizations. Mr. Bourne is a Fellow of the Institute of Corporate Directors.
Mr. Chorney has served on Teine's Board of Directors since the reorganization of its predecessor in 2010, and had served as a director of the predecessor since 2005. He brings over 40 years of experience in the petroleum industry and has served on numerous oil and gas public company and energy trust boards. These companies include Daylight Energy Ltd. (2006-2011); TUSK Energy Corporation (2005-2009); Norquay Capital Ltd. (now Xtreme Coil Drilling Corp.) (2005-2006); Tiger-Cat Energy Ltd. / RMS Systems Inc. (2005-2008); Sequoia Oil & Gas Ltd. (2005-2006); Argo Energy Ltd. (2002-2005); and Argonauts Group Ltd. (1998-2002). Mr. Chorney served as Director of Production and Drilling and Project Director for Anglo Albanian Petroleum Ltd. (a private international oil and gas company) from June 1998 to July 2000. Prior thereto, he was Vice President and General Manager of Heavy Oil Operations, PanCanadian Petroleum Ltd. Mr. Chorney is a professional engineer and an independent businessman.
Mr. Chambers is a Managing Director in the Sustainable Energies Group at CPP Investments. He joined CPP Investments in 2010 and has worked in the Sustainable Energies Group and Direct Private Equity. Prior to joining CPP Investments, he was at Houlihan Lokey in the Financial Restructuring Group. Mr. Chambers is currently a Director of Nephin Energy, and previously served on the Boards of Crestone Peak Resources and Encino Acquisition Partners. Mr. Chambers holds an HBA from the Ivey Business School at the University of Western Ontario.
Ms. Dalgetty has served on Teine’s Board of Directors since March, 2020 and is currently the Chief Financial Officer of Shock Trauma Air Rescue Service (“STARS”), a position she has held since October, 2021. Prior to joining STARS, from 2014 to 2021, Ms. Dalgetty was Vice President, Finance and Services at the University of Calgary where she was responsible for an extensive portfolio including finance, information technologies, human resources and facilities. Prior to joining the University of Calgary Ms. Dalgetty was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Saxon Energy Services, Inc. (“Saxon”) from 2013 to 2014. Prior to her role at Saxon, from 1995 to 2013, Ms. Dalgetty held various roles of increasing responsibility at Nutrien Ltd. (“Nutrien”) (formerly, Agrium Inc.), including Vice President Finance, Chief Information Officer, and General Manager of Agroservicios Pampeanos SA (a wholly owned Argentine subsidiary of Nutrien). Ms. Dalgetty holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary and is a Fellow of the Chartered Professional Accountants (FCPA, FCA). Ms. Dalgetty is an Independent Director and Audit Committee Chair of Thermon Group Holdings, Inc.

Ms. MacKenzie has served on Teine’s Board of Directors since June, 2023. She is a corporate director with over 30 years of energy sector experience. Previously, Ms. MacKenzie served as Chief Operating Officer with Oilsands Quest Inc. and as Vice President of Human Resources and Vice President of In Situ Development and Operations at Petro-Canada prior to its merger with Suncor Energy Inc. Ms. MacKenzie was also employed with Amoco Canada, serving in a variety of engineering and leadership roles in natural gas, conventional oil and heavy oil development.
Ms. MacKenzie holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) degree from McGill University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Calgary. She is a Life Member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta and holds the ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors.
Ms. MacKenzie is currently a director of MEG Energy Corporation and Precision Drilling Corporation. She previously served on the boards of Enerplus Corporation, Freehold Royalties Ltd., TransGlobe Energy Corporation, FortisAlberta Inc., Safe Haven Foundation of Canada, the Calgary Women’s Emergency Shelter and Foothills Academy Society.
Mr. Zelenczuk has served on Teine's Board of Directors since 2012. From 2013 to May 2018, he was the Senior Managing Director and Chief Operations Officer for the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB). Prior to that he was the Chief Financial Officer for CPPIB for 4 years. Mr. Zelenczuk has more than 35 years of experience in the financial services industry. He has held a number of senior roles in investment banking, telecommunications, and consulting. Earlier in his career, he served as President and CEO of Deutsche Bank Canada.
Mr. Zelenczuk also serves on the boards of Wilton Re Ltd. (a life re-insurance company), Laurentian Bank Canada (a schedule 1 bank), and Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (a defined benefit pension plan). He holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen’s University and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Professional Accountants.
