Teineβs Management has been carefully monitoring the evolving nature of the COVID-19 pandemic. Ensuring the health and safety of our employees, contractors, vendors and service providers is our top priority.
We have been proactively implementing measures and developing plans to ensure the continuity of our operations both in the field and in the corporate office. In doing so, we are guided by the best practices as set out by Health Canada and the Provincial Governments of Alberta and Saskatchewan. These measures include:
β’ Encouraging all employees, where possible, to work remotely from home. We are providing equipment and technical support to make this possible.
β’ Restricting all business travel and avoiding the use of public transit.
β’ Practicing social distancing by limiting person-to-person interaction and holding meetings by audio or video conferencing.
β’ Taking precautionary measures regarding any employees or family members who may feel ill or otherwise be at risk.
During these challenging times, we will endeavor to minimize disruption to our day-to-day operations. Our offices remain open, but we are restricting access. We are maintaining reduced staff levels at our corporate headquarters and attempting to ensure suppliers invoices are processed and payments made on a timely basis. All vendors, suppliers and landowners currently registered on our Cortex invoicing platform and/or Electronic Funds Transfers (EFT), will be processed remotely and can expect the payment process to continue with limited disruption. Those not on Cortex and/or EFTβs may experience delays in payment but we will endeavor to minimize this impact. To mitigate delays please feel free to reach out to our finance team at apayable@teine-energy.com to obtain information on how to register on Cortex and provide banking information for the EFT payment process.
The current coronavirus outbreak is an extraordinary event and we continue to monitor and adapt our strategy. We will provide updates throughout the process. We wish everyone good health.
